Sue's Sun Bonnet Sue quilt took 7 years from start to finish. The block came from a book of 30's patterns, but more contemporary fabrics were used to update the over all look. All of the piecing, including the pieced sashing was done by hand as well. This quilt was definitely worth the time and energy to create it. Great job Sue!

Kathy from Georgia paper pieced these boat blocks with a verity of primary colored prints. This gave it a bright crisp look, just right for her grandson's important first years.
